TNPCEE

The Government of Tamil Nadu has authorized Anna University to conduct Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE). Appearing for this exam is mandatory for admission in engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The exam is held in the month of April or May.

The marks of TNPCEE are combined with the marks of class 12 to determine the cut-off marks for admission to the first year courses.

Eligibility:

The eligibility for this exam is that the candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Exam or equivalent exam. Candidates who are going to appear for +2 exams can also apply for TNPCEE.

Pattern of Test:

There are two papers in the exam: Physical Science which includes Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics. Those who seek admission in B.Arch course have to give another Aptitude Test

Application Procedure:

Application forms can be obtained in person or by post in the month of February. Forms are available at specified branches of Canara Bank/State Bank of India. It can also be obtained from Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai.

The application form can be obtained by post from The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination, Exam Centre, Anna University, Chennai 600025. The cost of application form has to be sent through a Demand Draft.
